Family Therapy

Conjoined with individual therapy, I support you and your loved ones work though life changing events, including challenges within their own systems and/or traumatic experiences. Conjoined family therapy is an excellent option for individuals and their families that are struggling with communication and rebuilding your core relationships.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy is a form of treatment that is proven to help with trauma, anxiety, depression and reshaping your core beliefs. EMDR allows you to process traumatic events in a way that makes the event less distressing.

  • CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is a type of talk therapy the helps you gain awareness of negative thinking patterns and how to better respond from a position of strength. You’ll learn skills to manage your thought patterns from interfering in the way you view yourself.

    TF-CBT (Trauma Focused) aims at addressing the needs of PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder) and trauma survivors and helping them overcome the distressing effects of trauma.

  • Accepting things as they come rather than trying to change the situation is a skill developed through ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). This form of therapy helps you shift towards focusing on actions and experiences that align with your values.

  • Solution Focused Therapy is an approach that helps you find clarity in your goals and come up with a plan to make change happen.
